It has to be considered that the solids accumulated throughout the developmental stages contribute largely to the taste of the fruit, a vital element of fruit quality. For the entire study by Li et al. 2016, the first variable evaluated was the fresh weight or soluble solid content, the soluble sugars and organic acids accumulated inside the fruit were analysed via GC-MS (Chagn et al. 2012). The next assessment was of the free amino acids using the liquid chromatography and fluorescence detection technique by Li. The proteomic analysis demands the optimal extraction and characterization of the proteins accumulated, which in the study was done using HPLC technique and statistical analysis of the data collected was done by BLAST alignment (Li et al. 2016). Their results showed some key factors in the developmental genetics of the apple fruit family; the experiment quantified 6247 proteins out of which 3713 were in overlapped sequences, contributing to particular gene products. In this study the technique chosen for protein profiling is iTRAQ, using isobaric labelling to obtain relative and absolute quantification of the protein sequence. Similar to the previous research study this study was also focussed on protein profiling at different developmental stages, however the variables analysed were different (Guo et al. 2017). Soluble solid content also contributes to the sweetness of the fruit, a key factor rightly capture by the second article, along with its soluble sugar content using refractometer like the previous study (Guo et al. 2017). The study nest analysed the ethylene content of the fruit via extraction using chromatography. Volatile compound analysis was the next step in line in this study followed by the protein extraction using acetone precipitation technique. The last few step that completed this protein profiling study were iTRAQ analysis, LC-MS analysis and protein identification and bioinformatic analysis followed by real time PCR to replicate the coded cDNA (Guo et al. 2017). Their attempt was to evaluate the protein profiling for the genera of oriental melon and find out key switches in the developmental procedure that will improve the fruit quality if manipulated. The results of the study was very simplified and articulated, the SSC count increased in the early developmental period and then gradually decreased as the fruit progressed towards ripening and maturation. Hence it can be concluded from the study that the key genetic switches are in the early developmental processes, and manipulation of any of the genetic pathway later on will do nothing to improve the taste or nutritional value of the fruit. The volatile compound analysis revealed 17 esters, 12 alcohols, 4 aldehydes and 4 acidic compounds to be present in the fruit that contributed to the exotic aroma of the melon. The protein analysis study revealed the presence of differentially expressing proteins across four developmental stages, and to further investigate the protein profiling for these about 1694 proteins were analysed using hierarchical clustering. This study analysed 4 clusters of proteins each showing different functions at different stages (Guo et al. 2017). Now a thorough understanding of the expression pattern of these protein clusters can reveal key information can aid in exploiting the fruit quality, hence it can be concluded that it is a step in the right direction for the study. In order to critically compare the efficacy and drawbacks of both articles any further, it is important to tally their findings, and the conclusion each study has drawn based on the findings reflecting the quality development. The first article on Malus could successfully identify that cell production progresses on a vigorous rate in early developmental stages, they could also identify that the protein expression at this stage is much higher than the rest of the stages. The authors described that the protein expression and changes to the core cell cycle progresses with fruit development, a conclusion very similar to the previous studies (Li, Feng and Cheng 2012). The study could identify key kinases and auxin response factor involved with the fruit development procedure but could not assign QTLs to these key proteins, so that it becomes easier for them to characterize the expression pattern of that particular sequence. Both articles verified the role of proteins expressing in the ear ly stages of development as expected, but there are hardly any significant similarities in the proteins. The study attempted to explain the genetic trajectory associated with Malus in intricate detail that can be instrumental in improving the fruit quality quite commendably. As the previous studies suggested the predominant two sugars that are generally accumulated in the fruit are sorbitol and sucrose as explained by Ma 2012. The study could describe with clarity the protein expression involved in the phloem transport and accumulation of these two sugars. However, not enough information was available on the signalling mechanism of the key enzymes of metabolism of these sugars (Ma 2012). However the protein expression details were well articulated in the thesis paper encompassing all the key proteins involved in the procedures which can be really helpful in the conduction of further studies. On the other hand the second article on oriental melon discussed only about the metabolic pathway, completely neglecting the genetic and signalling aspect of the development and maturation procedure. The study focussed on the Sucrose synthetase and sucrose phosphate synthetase enzyme, vital for sucrose synthesis to better understand the molecular mechanism of sucrose synthesis and transport (Cohen, Elkabetz and Edelstein 2016). The mechanism of up and down-regulatio n of the SPS protein was clearly explained in the study however, the transcriptomic switches were not discussed in detail. The glycolytic pathway was also critically analysed which gave a clear insight on the ATP generation and it contribution to sugar accumulation in the fruit but the study heavily lacked the genetic and trancriptome analysis with the thesis paper being focussing on protein profiling as the title suggested (Guo et al. 2017). The first article however provided vital information about the genetic network of the carbohydrate accumulation in the fruit during the development, that can be vital for exploiting their pathways to improve the fruit quality. Two comprehensive studies on the efficacy of SUC4 protein showed that the protein is crucially involved in the phloem unloading by Wei et al., 2014 and Li et al., 2012, this study further enhanced the knowledge on this mechanism by validating that the SUC4 expression surges parallel with the progression of the developmental stages of the fruit (Wei et al. 2014). Another remarkable discovery of the paper was the discovery of analogues of the hexose transporters, SOT1 and SOT2, involved with the post phloem loading of sorbitol. The study proved true to its claim by discussing a substantial amount about the genetics of the fruit development however, it similarly lacked in discussion about the metabolomics (Guo et al. 2017). Although the paper was able to discuss a bout the glycolytic pathway and the enzymes involved in general but did not provide any specific information about the accumulation of the sugars and its metabolic pathways (Monforte et al. 2014). On a concluding note it can be said that both the papers lacked one or the other section to be discussed. Where the first article on apple explained all the details on the proteomic level, characterizing the proteins that are instrumental in the fruit development and with careful manipulation can contribute to the improved quality of the fruit, vastly neglected the metabolomic analysis. The second article in spite of being on protein profiling, was more focussed on explaining the metabolic pathways of the different sugars and organic acids that are accumulated in the fruit responsible for the colour and taste development of the fruit than evaluating the protein expression patterns. However the information provided by both the papers are appreciable and can prove to be instrumental in further research studies that could shed light on the expression patterns of the proteins in the early developmental stages of the fruit development, and can be instrumental in the manipulation of these protein expression pathways to improve the quality of such fruits with high market value exponentially. Twelfth Night - Analysis of Fools Twelfth Night - Analysis of Fools A fool can be defined in many meanings according to the Oxford English Dictionary On Historical Principles. The word could mean "a silly person", or "one who professionally counterfeits folly for the entertainment of others, a jester, clown" or "one who has little or no reason or intellect" or "one who is made to appear to be a fool" (word originated from North Frisian). In english literature, the two main ways which the fool could enter imaginative literature is that "He could provide a topic, a theme for mediation, or he could turn into a stock character on the stage, a stylized comic figure". In William Shakespeare's comedy, Twelfth Night, Feste the clown is not the only fool who is subject to foolery. He and many other characters combine their silly acts and wits to invade other characters that "evade reality or rather realize a dream", while "our sympathies go out to those". "It is natural that the fool should be a prominent attractive figure and make an important contribution to the action" in forming the confusion and the humor in an Elizabethan drama. In Twelfth Night, the clown and the fools are the ones who combine humor wit to make the comedy work. Clowns, jesters, and Buffoons are usually regarded as fools. Their differences could be of how they dress, act or portrayed in society. A clown for example, "was understood to be a country bumpkin or 'cloun'". In Elizabethan usage, the word 'clown' is ambiguous"meaning both countryman and principal comedian". Another meaning given to it in the 1600 is "a fool or jester". As for a buffoon, it is defined as "a man whose profession is to make low jests and antics postures; a clown, jester, fool". The buffoon is a fool because "although he exploits his own weaknesses instead of being exploited by others....he resembles other comic fools". This is similar to the definition of a 'Jester' who is also known as a "buffoon, or a merry andrew. One maintained in a prince's court or nobleman's household". As you can see, the buffoon, jester and the clown are all depicted as fools and are related tied to each other in some sort of way. They relatively have the same objectives in their roles but in appearance wise (clothes, physical features) they may be different. In Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Feste's role in this Illyrian comedy is significant because "Illyria is a country permeated with the spirit of the Feast of Fools, where identities are confused, 'uncivil rule' applauded...and no harm is done". "In Illyria therefore the fool is not so much a critic of his environment as a ringleader, a merry-companion, a Lord of Misrule. Being equally welcome above and below stairs.." makes Feste significant as a character. In Twelfth Night, Feste plays the role of a humble clown employed by Olivia's father playing the licensed fool of their household. We learn this in Olivia's statement stating that Feste is "an allowed fool"(I.v.93) meaning he is licensed, privileged critic to speak the truth of the people around him. We also learn in a statement by Curio to the Duke that Feste is employed by Olivia's father. "Feste the jester... a fool that the Lady Olivia's father took much pleasure in"(II.iv.11). Feste is more of the comic truth of the comedy. Although he does not make any profound remarks, he seems to be the wisest person within all the characters in the comedy. Viola remarks this by saying "This fellow's wise enough to play the fool"(III.i.61). Since Feste is a licensed fool, his main role in Twelfth Night is to speak the truth. This is where the humor lies, his truthfulness. In one example he proves Olivia to be a true fool by asking her what she was mourning about. De jong volwassenen ( stripling ) Cognitief niveau: Het proces van abstract denken nut kritisch denken wordt voltooid. De [ 2 ] stripling denkt ook veel minder zwart/wit dan de puber. Het verschil tussen denken en doen is grotendeels verdwenen. De stripling handelt in grote mate overeenkomstig in zijn denken. De stripling gaat ook meer nadenken over politiek en religie. Opvallend is dat meisjes qua politiek meer links denken dan jongens. Van alle jongeren is er maar ongeveer 20 % geinteresseerd in politiek. De stripling experimenteert ook niet meer zoveel, de drang om erbij Te horen heeft hij nog wel, maar hij wil niet opgaan in een groep. Hij wil wel zijn Eigen persoonlijkheid zijn. Lichamelijk niveau: De lichamelijke volwassenwording wordt voltooid. De laat rijpers halen de vroeg rijpers geheel of gedeeltelijk in. Jongens en meisjes behalen in de adolescentie hun maximale lichaamslengte. Alhoewel niet iedereen tevreden is met zijn uiterlijk, is work forces veel beter dan tijdens de puberteit in staat tot het maken new wave een behoorlijk realistische inschatting new wave de eigen lichamelijkheid. En door de drukte van hun sociale leven geen tijd hebben om informatie Te vergaren die voor Hun new wave groot belang is om het Te redden in de maatschappij. Wat is heated doel? Het ontwikkelen van de zelfredzaamheid van de doelgroep in de maatschappij. En Hun zo zelfstandig mogelijk maken. Een middel om mijn doel Te bereiken is samen met de doelgroep een sociale kaart ontwikkelen. Vraagstelling: Welke begeleidingsystematiek kunnen wij ontwikkelen om zo de zelfstandigheid van onze jongeren te bevorderen. Deelvragen De vraagstelling kan niet worden beantwoord zonder eerst een aantal deelvragen op Te stellen en deze Te beantwoorden. De deelvragen dice bij deze vraagstelling horen zijn: Wat wordt verstaan onder zelfredzaamheid en zelfstandigheid? Welke begeleidingssystematiek zijn Er om onze jongeren Te begeleiden en Te ondersteunen. Welke begeleidingsmethodiek past het beste bij onze jongeren. Wat zijn de specifieke kwaliteiten van MWD-ER, gericht op jongeren? Wat zijn de specifieke kwaliteiten van een MWD- Er, gericht op het ontwikkelen new wave projecten? Hoofdstuk 5 Begeleidingsvormen. Supervisie Supervisie is heated onder begeleiding leren door reflectie op Eigen werkervaringen. Degene die supervisie krijgt, de supervisant, leert het Eigen handelen tegen het licht Te houden. Daardoor verwerft hij inzicht in het Eigen handelen en kan dot duurzaam verbeteren. Intervisie Intervisie is een vorm new wave begeleiding waarbij collega s elkaar ondersteunen en helpen Hun functioneren te verbeteren. Coaching Coaching is gericht op het verbeteren van prestaties in de uitvoering new wave het beroep of functie. Het accent kan daarbij gelegd worden op persoonlijke of vakmatige doelen, of een combinatie new wave beide. Wat is de taak van de MWD-er Het maatschappelijk werk is een moeilijk Te defini A ; euml ; ren beroep. Binnen de hulpverlenende sector kunnen de werkers zich met veel uiteenlopende zaken bezighouden: new wave kortdurende therapeutische gesprekken tot langdurige en intensieve begeleiding. Daarnaast behoort de maatschappelijk werker zich bezig Te houden met belangenbehartiging en signaleren new wave situaties binnen de samenleving. Wat is Psychosociale Hulpverlening? Psychosociale hulpverlening is hulp bij alle mogelijke problemen die ontstaan in het dagelijkse leven. Daarbij beschik ik over een aantal professionele eigenschappen, zoals ( goed ) luisteren, oprechte aandacht, respect voor de hulpvrager en empathie en ( ook niet onbelangrijk ) vakkennis. Ik richt mij in mijn hulpverlening op de totale work forces ( =holistisch ) en niet uitsluitend op het probleem! De aanleiding voor dot probleem is ontstaan doordat jongeren zonder enige voorlichting/ kennis op zoek gaan naar Hun zelfstandigheid. En door de drukte van hun sociale leven geen tijd hebben om informatie Te vergaren die voor Hun new wave groot belang is om het Te redden in de maatschappij. Wat zowel wenselijk voor de jongeren ALSs voor onze maatschappij is, is dat de zelfstandigheid/ zelfredzaamheid new wave onze jongeren bevorder wordt. Dit kan door middel new wave voorzieningen dice speciaal gericht zijn op onze jongeren. Door dot probleem ben ik tot een doel gekomen. Dit doel zal ik nog even duidelijk maken. Het ontwikkelen van de zelfredzaamheid van de doelgroep in de maatschappij. En Hun zo zelfstandig mogelijk maken. Research conducted in recent years has established that cases of students diagnosed with mental health issues are on the rise. A study conducted by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) found out that one in four students in the US suffers from a mental-related health issue. In the UK, university counselors have reported increased cases of students dealing with mental-related issues. A survey conducted by NUS in 2014 established that 75% of the students suffered from a mental health issues (Winrow, 2017).   There are also increased cases of university students dropping out of school because of being overwhelmed by mental health issues. Mental health status of a university student is of uttermost importance because it plays a critical role in shaping the education life. In the UK, about 15,000 first year students reported dealing with mental health issues (Burns, 2017). The figures are a sharp contrast to about 3000 students in 2006 that were diagnosed with mental health issues. Surveys conducted by different companies have also established that females are more likely to report a mental health issue than males. Mental health issues affecting university students There are numerous mental health issues that affect university students. Depression is among the prevalent mental health issues among students. A survey conducted by YouGov found that 77% of students with mental health issue had depression (Aronin and Smith, 2016). Anxiety is another mental health issue facing university students. Anxiety is largely caused by divergent issues like exam fear and experiencing difficulties while studying. University education is quite demanding and may prove a high-energy consuming activity for some students. The already established support services that deal with mental health issues are overwhelmed by the increasing number of students affected. A study conducted by IPPR found out that one in four students is using or waiting to use counseling services. In Leeds University, the study found out that there was a 50% increase in demand of mental health services, while the University of Birmingham there has been an annual increase of 5-6% for the past 10 years in need of the services (Burns, 2017).   Universities need to prioritize mental health issues and channel more resources and effort towards curbing the issues. Additionally, universities need to improve students’ access to National Health Service (NHS) In summary, it is evident from the above discussion that mental health issues among university is a major concern that should be taken more seriously given the rising cases of the affected students.
